45.7 million Americans went without health insurance coverage at some point during 2007. As a result, many of these people may not have obtained needed medical care, and all took a significant financial gamble. The National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU), a professional association of more than 20,000 health insurance agents, brokers and benefit specialists, is extremely concerned about the very real issue of the uninsured.
